Gas migration through the cement slurry and into the wellbore from a gas-bearing formation has the potential to cause significant problems for well operators.  Evaluating cement slurries for gas migration properties is of critical importance.  The OFITE Gas Migration Tester directly measures the slurry's ability to block gas migration.  The Static Gel Strength Measurement device (SGSM) uses a mechanical bob to mechanically measure static gel strength development over time.
